Have you ever noticed this?

i was trying to figure out how to say this in the title, but my brain couldn't do it.

I've noticed too many times to be coincidence, that some articles I have for sale will be dormant for a while, and then, suddenly, often on the same day, I will get two or three people who are suddenly interested and it becomes a scramble on who will pay me first.

Does this happen to you, and do you have any ideas why? My only thought is that someone started a search on that item on the Internet, and generated new interest in the item in question. A seasonal item, I could understand...

My customers do that. The phone doesn't ring for a day or two then suddenly there are 4 or 5 calls in an hour. I am a seasonal worker but even in peak season the calls ebb and flow. In the off season a week might pass without a call and then the phone rings and while I'm talking to the customer someone else calls.

i just sold a denon avr900, was priced very low at 50, took almost a year to get rid of it, and then got 2 calls the same day.
its finaly gone away

Someone will post a thread somewhere. Here or some place else.Because the web is as big as it is more than one person catches the bug . Buyer is like ,ooooh i'll do a search (ebay, craigslist, whatever) . Just a theory:idea:
