Having a Weird Issue With this Site

Hey all. About a year(more?) ago I started having this issue. Whenever I go to Audiokarma and start clicking around, my laptop starts to heat up and the fan comes on within a few minutes. The battery gets used faster than usual too. No other site does this and this site was fine before, so it's rather a puzzler to me.

Also when I'm visiting Audiokarma on my cell phone, same thing, even though its the mobile version of the site. And the data usage spikes. Something like several megs to load one single page, it's rather odd.

I don't get these symptoms from any other site. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to solve this? It's begun to limit my time here as I try to go easy on the laptop's battery and the mobile data.

Pop up adds. Java scripts. The usual web intrusions.

Okay, that link explains a lot! I probably didn't see that thread because I don't visit as much due to the difficulties I mentioned.

Yeah your not alone. I too have noticed how hard it is on
android devices. My PCs its no where near as bad.

It behaves as if theres a memory leak in the browser.

Weird...
