hca-800 blowing speaker fuses

my cousin recently gave me parasound hca-800II now everytime i turn it on with out anything pluged in speakers or rc it pops both speaker fuses i already re soldered all the power transistors im just looking for some help trouble shooting what could be causing this

I have essentially the same question as ryuuoh...

I'm not familiar with the amp...are the speaker fuses in the amp, or are the speaker fuses in the speakers?

Also, you mention "...now everytime..." as if something has changed and it wasn't doing it previously. Yes? No?

"Blows fuse whenever nothing is plugged into the input", eh?

My guess is the front end has lost it's ground reference. Maybe a burned ground trace due to a previous ground loop situation? This could make the DC (ground) reference point float, sending DC to your speaker. When connected to a ground referenced signal, the DC would come back to ~0V.
 
ya it did the same thing before i soldered it as well my cousin said how this happend was the amp was in sterio and + and - wires touched he was explaining it to me over aol so idk if it was from one chanell or a + and - from each side touched but i guess it was working until that happend
 
idk ill have to get my tester and see. ive had this same thing happen in a car amp that blew a whole line of output transistors but they litterally blew up and crazy smoke started to poor out of the amp every output transistor on this amp looks fine no black nothing on them but ill test them anyway
 
i cant find a scematic so im kinda unsure how to go about testing it if i had a good one to use as a refernce that would work but i dont. how should i go about testing the power transistors
 
ok i found out how to open it but it doesnt show the values of anything thats what im trying to find thanks for your help though im gona search google see what i can find
