What type of headphones are you looking for... ear buds, IEM (In Ear Monitor), or are you looking for on ear or over ear, open back or closed back. Before anyone can help you, you need to decide on what type you are looking for.

Aw crap sorry,Over ear and closed back.

You can also check out Head-Fi.org for tons of information on headphones to match with that amp.

Il check over there too. :thmbsp:

One of the most popular that I have read about is the AT ATH-M50. These are getting good reviews on Head-Fi.

One that I have been considering is the Sennheiser HD-280 Pro. These are getting good reviews and are worth considering.

I am also considering the AKG Q701 and the K240. The reason is both are open in the back so the air flow is better, and it may help cut down the sweating one can get from listening with closed backs.

Keep us informed and let us know which ones you decide to get. :music:

I have used Allessandro (Grado) MS1's with that amp with very good results.
The amp pairs up well with 32ohm headphones

hi... so I game and own the ATH-M50 headphones ... I like the M50's they are rugged and fairly portable (I use them as my travel / taking with me when I go out and about.)

however the M50's are not that great as gaming headphones they soundstage is fairly small

additionally the clamping force is rather high ( haven't tried the new M50X's) which reportedly are maybe slightly more comfortable???? as well as having removable cables)

for gaming I greatly prefer my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80s ... not fairly portable but super comfortable and nice sounding good sound stage for closed cans... these do have a fair bit of bass (so do the M50's really) if you don't need portability the DT770's are awesome... closed gaming headphones IMHO

I use my LD 1+ with all my Grados, including my beloved PS1000, with very good results, this amp is a major no brainer.
