Heathkit AA-151 value

Is $250 (and that incl. tax and shipping) too steep of a price to pay for a Heathkit AA-151 tube integrated amp in the following condition: fully functioning, all tubes present and working, chassis and cover intact and in fair/good condition but not unblemished, needs a tune-up (esp. recapping), not restored nor rebuilt. What would you estimate to be a fair value for this unit in the aforementioned condition?

Yes too much....I sold one on audiogon last year with its AJ 11 tuner mate for $250 total and those were in excellent shape. It took a few weeks to sell.

That's what I thought.

So, do you think $100-150 would be fair for this unit in the condition that I described? Functioning fully, all tubes working, face and body in good/OK but not pristine condition. But not restored, and in need of the same tune-up/run-over that any tube amp of this age that hasn't been used or serviced in years needs.

Yes probably $150 max...again I sold mine last year so cant tell if they have gone up in value...nice looking unit though overall....

What do you think the value of this Heathkit would be if it were tuned up?

In other words: recapped, bias, cleaned, replaced any tubes that are on their last leg, fully functional, good/OK physical condition (not pristine but no major physical deficiencies...and bottom chassis plate and cover both intact), etc. Basically, standard fare tune up but nothing major (no restore/rebuild, and no mods).
