Heathkit AA-1640 Vs. Adcom gfa-555

I have the adcom. Was thinking about doing some buy and sell to switch to the Heathkit. The adcom is the original Mk I, not Mk II. It's in great shape. Not a scratch. Runs great. Haven't heard the Heathkit yet. It's hooked to some Bose 901's and is fed with a Heathkit AP-1615 preamp for auditioning.

Thoughts?

Thanks. I hope that's the consensus because it would certainly be easier. I know this isn't D&S but the offer is $800 for the whole setup. Amp, preamp, 901's w/ the eq. But all I'm interested in is the amp. I could probably get $600 back from selling the pre and the 901's so the amp is only $200 but stuff is a little harder to move now than it used to be.
