HeathKit AD-1013 Audio Scope

Hi All:

I just picked up a Heathkit AD-1013 Audio Scope in great physical condition and it actually works fine - except the scope trace will not focus to a fine line.

I have little info for this unit, other than a rather poor diagram i found on the internet, so i thought i would post this request for any experience someone on this site may have had with one of these units or possibly copy of a service manual and/or assembly manual. I've been checking e-bay but no luck so far. I have checked the video tube via tube tester, and have not found any obvious burned or failed components.

I haven't seen too many posts here on this unit and being new to this forum I'm not sure this is the right place for this equipment but i thought that perhaps i would submit this post.

Any help or info is appreciated!

The first suggestion often offered here is to look for a H.W. Sams Photofact file on that unit, and get a copy of that manual. No guarantee Sams will have it.
 
The best publication to get, however, is an original assembly/service/maintenance manual that came with the kit and you can contact Heath about that.

The Sams Photofacts are excellent too, though.

All - thanks for the suggestions. Alan I took a look at the link you provided and that is a very clear print - looks like the actual part numbers and values are also included.

This print should provide me with enough info to get started on this unit.
