Heathkit AR-15 with Speakers

Hey. I am posting for the first time. I have a Heathkit AR-15, built it, with (2) Heathkit Speakers in a (2) home built speaker cabinets, 3/4" stained Birch Plywood (Heavy). The unit was working fine, then it needed some slight "hand tapping" when in the FM mode. From what I have been informed, the unit is repairable with some TLC. Just checking on the value. I have a Garrard turntable also.

Hey there -

I will have better pics coming. The unit is a Heathkit AR-15 Stereo Receiver, bought the kit and did the assembly (many years ago). Ran great, then had some intermittent audio on the FM. Put it aside, got another setup. It has a BSR PB-1 Turntable, marked McDonald 600. I also have (2) Cabinets built from 3/4" Birch Plywood (Heavy! 21"H x 18"W x 24" D) with Single High-End (at the time) Speakers. Even have the Heathkit Volume Controls at the rear of the Speaker Boxes .
