Heathkit AS-15 GW find!

The local Goodwill today brought me a pair of Heathkit AS-15 speakers. They are a large cube shaped wood cabinet with what looks like a 12" driver, 2 mids and a tweeter. The make imprinted on the frame of the driver and mids is "Jensen".

Does anyone have any info on these things? A search has come up with nothing with this model number.
They look very nice for $10.
I will post pics!

Thank you.

I think they originally had Jensen drivers, 12", dual 6" and the Sonodome tweeter. I had a customer/ friend of mine give me a couple empty cabinets that I plan to refinish and reset some new drivers with!

Could be the "normal" one is a newer replacement.

Many of the "midline" Heathkit speaker systems, at some point during their history, used Jensen components.
I don't know the AS-15 off the top of my head, but I just grabbed a sheaf of ol' catalogs and I'll see what I can come up with.
Generally, they didn't share a lot of details about their lower-end speakers in their catalogs (only the big boys with JBL & Altec drivers, e.g., seemed to share much info about the guts).

They dabbled with EV drivers, electrostatics, and even more. Guess what ever complimented their electronic gear got the voice to go with it!

Well, that's cool. FWIW, I don't recall ever seeing any electrostatics from Heathkit, and the only EV products I can recall seeing were low-end (e.g., a Heathkit version of the EV Seven two-way), so if you get a chance, please post a catalog page scan or two! :)

As to the AS-15 -- literally nothing here in my collection -- but -- good ol' Google came through:
There are a couple of interesting, new (to me) Heathkit catalog pages/sites -- we'll see how long they last (as the current holders of the Heathkit copyrights are pretty aggressive at protecting the copyrighted materials). For now, there's more "up" in terms of Heathkit catalogs (which may not be copyrighted, I dunno) now than ever before.
