Heathkit GD 125Q Multiplier Help

I recently purchased a Heathkit GD 125 Q Multiplier. Would this be helpful for signal reception hooked to a “regular” tuner; and what would be the best way to connect it? Or is it all for naught? I am currently using a Sherwood S2100 tuner with a Select-A-Tenna. I usually only listen to AM radio and don’t have an issue with reception, but if it would help pull in/clarify/separate distant stations - that’d be cool. Any help would be appreciated- Thanks! - John
