i am new here !! i had regitred on this site to find a heathkit aa-151 power transformer 54-93

i had mailed A LOT of message to several heathkit specialist on the web with no positive answer!!

please help me!!

i dont think so!!

the transformer have 117v primary

sec1 = 620v .18 amp
sec 2 = 5 v 1,9 amp
sec 3 & 4 = 6.3v 2.6 amp

i had searched on hammond site ..maybe you will find an apropriate transormer!

Contact Heyboer Transformers. They can make you one. In fact, if you give them the dimensions, they can most probably make an almost exact replacement. They are at: http://heyboertransformers.com/
They make me custom power transformers for my SET amps which have the specs of
300-0-300V @ .5A
2.5V @ 12A
5V @8A
6.3V @ 4A

If they can build an oddball transformer like that, they should be able to build you a power transformer for your amp.

You might give Edcor a look, they have 3 pages of "stock" tube equipment power transformers, and most probably have something close enough to do the job. They usually quote 6 week lead times, but it really seems to take more like 4. They do customs too, but there's a setup charge.

It's been a long time since this was posted.

I just looked up 54-93 today because I found a box of NOS 54-89 and 54-93 in the garage today, and found this post.

I don't want to ramble too much knowing sales traffic is not appreciated in the wrong places but thought I'd just see if the inquirer was still around.

I even found some projects I ordered parts for and forgot what I was going to do with them...duh, I guess...

I assume I'm PM'able here. I've only logged in a couple times I think...
