Finally got some half decent photos of these... Still only cellphone quality, but figured it's good enough for a share

The "AA1800" sounds insanely good. I have owned some respectable amps in my 65 years, But none has the sound sound this one has with its matching preamp!!
This little Heathkit stack WILL be buried with me.

Damn. I only have a GC-1107 clock that I built in 1980. Had a scare the other night. I accidentally pulled on the cord and it fell off my dresser to the floor. It was carpet, so shouldn't have been a problem. But it was. The FL display went black! I thought I destroyed the tube! Luckily, it was what appeared to be a crack in the PCB foil where the filament connects. I was able to run a jumper from the pin on the tube to a resistor and it is now working fine.

No, I wish

I actually got the pre, tuner and 1600 together, then the EQ, Xover and processor together, then the aa1800 and output indicator separately

Took well over 1,000 miles of driving to acquire and complete the set, but well worth it. More knobs and features than you could ever ask for

Hi:
Send it ALL to me and I will dispose of the equipment in an environmentally safe way ! There are some components there that are not
safe !
I have the pre , both amps, 2 level meters and 2 tuners. No equalizer or expander , I use a DBX III for that.

Hello to all - I'm a long-time Heathkit nut. I have the rack-mounted system and most components - all with manuals and in pristine condition. AP-1800, AA-1800, AA-1600, AD-1703, AD-1706, and of course the AE-1705 component rack. Mint or near mint. I also have an excellent Yamaha TX-950 tuner that I just rested on top of the rack-mounted equipment, easily supported, as is a Nakamichi LX-3 2-head cassette deck and Yamaha CDC-665 CD player. I realize that the latter components, while excellent, are not what's at stake here. But they filled up my rack and worked perfectly. Old school, yes. But still...
I'm looking to sell this equipment. It has been lightly used since I started collecting the components in the early 80s. My dad (a radio man in the Pacific during WWII) and his brother (a Heathkit insider in the 60s and 70s) got me into it, but I'm getting old and need to unload many things.
I don't want to breach protocol here. I'm still a "newbie." Please advise. Thanks.
P.S. All rack-mounting hardware (speed nuts, little springs, and cosmetic pieces are included, as well as the in-rack support board. Even the chrome LP support racks are included. I betcha NO one still has those! It's essentially a museum piece. Just like new. Looking for a good home.

2. post a message in the Facebook group "Heathkit", maybe even pointing here to your new Bartertown posting, so you get a bunch more people aware of your gear for sale

Hello! I am a tad northwest of Baltimore City, in south Carroll County, MD.

Thanks my friend for the quick and concise reply. I wasn't sure about how to proceed. I've never attempted to sell a semi-significant batch of stereo equipment before, outside of some smaller sales on eBay.

I believe you and thank you. Maybe I've been selling myself short, out of ignorance. The earlier reference to a Facebook "Heathkit" forum is a head turner for me. I've been off and on with Facebook for many years because it basically creeps me out. But I never knew there was a Heathkit forum! I could spend entire evenings there for many months, without arguing pointlessly over politics.
