Height level for PSB Mini Stratus?

I am trying to get a pair of PSB Stratus Mini to replace my Paradigm Mini Monitors v3 in a small room. I am disappointed on how the Paradigms sound in my room. I have place them differently a few times and I cant make them seem to sound right. They are too boxy sounding with no good soundstage. I like to try the PSB Stratus Mini but the tweeter is below the bass driver. I have 28" stands but PSB recommends 25" high. My ear level is 41" from the floor when I am sitting down. Would the the current stands work still or do I need to get shorter stands? Thanks

You could keep your 28" stands and get a chair 3" lower.;)

Seriously, the designer put the tweeter below the woofer for one or both reasons. Crossover design and tweeter lobing, or driver phase.
