So here’s something you don’t find every day:
Pioneer SX-9000 receiver
pair of Pioneer CS-88 speakers
pair of CS-33As
TEAC A-4010S reel-to-reel
All in original boxes - shipped to the states from Germany courtesy of the US military 45 years ago.
I just bought this pile from the original owner. I haven't even look at the stuff in the boxes, yet.

Incredible how these time capsules still keep turning up......never ceases to amaze me...you'd think that they'd all be gone now...
Better get the Polyester suit out and open the boxes on the brown Shag-Pile carpet!!

You're certainly correct about not finding this sort of gear in boxes everyday.

You'll normally find that most people that were in the Military kept the boxes as they were constantly being moved from base to base during their service years and this was the best way for the removalists to safely transport such expensive equipment.

I bought a a Spec 1 & 4 both in their respective boxes many years ago from a Ex Air Force guy that was based in Malaysia and bought his gear from a Military Store back in the late 1970's.
