Hello everyone.

Good to be back. I had been lurking for a couple of years and finally registered 2 years ago when soon after life took a turn in a different direction.
I'm back on my feet, stronger than ever and moving in to a new apartment so I can finally put my gear up.

I'm looking forward to spending more time here. This is the place to be.

I know I will have a lot of questions and thoughts to share with you, so bare with me.

In the meantime, I'm sitting back and enjoying the music :music:

Where in Island ? My step dottir and barnabarn live in Reykjavik..Afi and Amma live here in Iowa.

Interesting. I'm in Reykjavík too. The weather is pretty crazy outside now. I should be asleep but just hooked up a temporary setup consisting of Marantz 2226 as a pre, and an M-25 power amp hooked up to a set of Optonica CP 9100 and liking what I hear. Trying to get everything finished.

Skilurdu íslensku ? Have you been to Iceland ?

Been married to Jonina for 16 years , so yes I understand a fair amount of the icelandic. I was stationed at Keflavik in "94". We were married in "95".
I have been back there twice since and Jona 3 or 4 times. My step - dottir Stella Maria has came here to visit 3-4 times as well.I could sure go for some ysa anytime.:thmbsp:

You know what they say.If you don't like the weather-Wait 5 minutes it will change.

That's great, sounds like you found one hell of a woman.
Back in 94 I lived in Húsavík. Time sure flies :D
 
Drove through there once on my way to lake Myvatn and Dettifoss.
