Hello AK

mslayer

New Member
I am a newbie to AK and most likely not alone in saying that I have joined after a Web search for an issue with my audio gear. I am 59 yrs old and am a listener to all kinds of music. Recently the wife and I have had more time at home and agreed to bringing out the old equipment and creating a space for listening and enjoying the 60s- 80s "Old stuff" . This is also going to be a chance to show the kids what an album is, and the difference between the recorded formats available. I have late 70s Yamaha separates. I will be posting in hopefully the correct area with some questions later. Thanks for letting me join. Looking forward to getting and giving info!

Hello there... and Welcome

Question:
Considering that you are from
New York, have you by chance any of New York's finest loudspeakers from the OHM Acoustics Loudspeaker Corp out of Brooklyn New York?

Welcome mslayer! I'm also a newbie and going through a similar experience...in the process of creating a vintage system (receiver and speakers for now) to play my old (and new) vinyl.
You're going to like it here.
