Hello All! Norman Lab Model 9 Speakers?

Hello all, this is my first post here, ive heard about this site on numerous occasions but never signed up. In any event, I have a Quad system hooked up in one of my living rooms, with a Sansui QRX-6500 driving 2 Norman Lab Model 9 Speakers in the front and a set of RTR Series V in the back. I would like to find another set of Norman Laboratories Model 9 or possibly the Model 10 for my rear channels as i love the sound of them!! Being that I like in PA, i know this may be a tricky feat. I located my set by happenstance and I am so glad i did, but now for a second set. The RTR are decent but theyre not on the same level as the Normans IMO. How often do these show up for sale? I found a few old threads but nothing recent, and i checked ebay and the sold listings, nothing.

Thanks!

If you are a subscriber you can post a WTB in bartertown.
Otherwise, try the usual places. I like US Audio Mart but there are plenty of others.

Good luck w yr search & welcome to AK.

The Norman's were more of a regional speaker; being manufactured in Norman, OK, with a limited distribution area.

One needs to be diligent in searching FB, CL, Audio Mart and, of course AK's Bartertown. To become a subscriber, click on the button in the upper right corner of the home page. Cost is $25 per year, and helps to pay the bills here.

I got lucky enough to find a set of Model 11, Im honestly surprised any of them made it this far. Theyre excellent speakers!! Thank you all for the welcome!

Congrats! Where did you find them?

I found my Model 8's in Colorado, several years ago.
Facebook. Marketplace, drove 3 hours down to Delaware LOL!! Still on the hunt for another pair of 9’s but the match is made and its a Major improvment over the RTR. If i had 4 RTR it would be fine too but having to different speakers its very hard if not impossible to match the sound between the sets even close to perfectly
