Just wanted to say hello to everyone and thanks for all the great info I'm getting here. Just started a new job and one of the guys I work with showed me this site. When I was visiting home I was able to get a sansui 1000a from my dad. So starts a new hobby. Well needless to say im having a hard time getting it working but I'm learnng alot here. Already looking for my next piece of equipment. Thanks in advance for all the help I know I'll be getting here.

Welcome, Vlad001! I envy your just starting out in the hobby of music-reproduction components. If you truly love certain styles of good music that seem to reach down into your very soul, it will be a satisfying and rewarding journey. Did your educational process include playing an instrument in the band or singing in choirs?

Welcome aboard vlad. This little audio world of ours sure attracts a lot of vlads...

Welcome Vlad!!
This is a great hobby except for the cost involved.
I had to stop drugs, drinking, & chasing women to be able to afford gear!?

I'm back to chasing women though.

Have fun here!!

BTW... just got a brand new 47" lcd tv this weekend and still I'm more interested in the vintage audio!!!
