Hello everybody, I am very excited to be a member. I have been a music lover my whole life. I still use my Marantz amp that I bought brand new in 1978 to power my system. I really love the old silver amps from around the 1970's era and have managed to collect a few over the years.

I live in Northern Ontario Canada and it is in the winter months that I have the most time to put the energy into my love of music and older audio equipment.

Same here with being active in winter. DIY, new improvements and just plain listening more.

Thanks for all the kind words. I have been checking out the forum quite a bit over the last few days and will have a few questions to post in the near future.

The forum is a real wealth of information and I am very glad I joined. Northguy.
