Hi people on audiokarma,

I'm a student in New Zealand, and stereo equipment is one of my interests. I've been lurking here for a while and have finally joined because I need help with an amp I'm trying to fix, but also because it seems to be one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable audio forums around!

I'm looking forward to spending more time on these forums! :)

what amp amp and model do you need help with?

Thanks for the welcomes everybody, I'm trying to fix a 70's AWA integrated amp with a Garrard sp25 mkiii (shure magnetic cart) built in to the chassis. It doesn't have sound at the moment but hopefully it's something I'll be able to fix because it's definitely a step above the AV receiver and plastic Aiwa turntable I have at the moment! I've put up a post about it in the transistor board. Fixing an amplifier seems a bit more intimidating than most things I've done so it's good that people who know a bit more than me can help :)
