I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rob. Have been playing records from about 10yrs of age. Own vintage Yamaha gear with Cerwin Vega floorstanders. These speakers are about 4yrs old.In 1978 I bought my first decent integrated amp. Yamaha CA-610 and a pair of AR16's new. About 12months before this I bought a Hitachi PS-38 DD turntable which at the time was only about 1yr old from a fella. Still have this turntable along with a Yamaha YP-800 DD turntable that I bought about 11 yrs ago. (secondhand) Sold the AR16's in the 80's along with the CA-610.(travel bug). Then 2yrs ago bought another CA-610 and a CA-510. Currently in the process of thoughly cleaning my record collection. (gradually). I also own a Yamaha CD player, Yamaha tape deck and a Yamaha tuner. (silver finish of course) Regards. Rob.

Welcome to AK Rob, You will definitely enjoy being here, It's a fun place and full of many many knowledgeable members. Alot of them seem to have a sense of humor, heheheh! And many personalities ranging from Einstein to Mozart, lol! I myself am a Cerwin Vega fan. I bought a pair of early D-9's new and I still have them:) I also bought a pair of E-312's in 1998 and they STILL are in the original boxes! I never got around to using them but I will one of theses days. I recently bought me a pair of E-715's too, heheheh! I have a weakness for speakers, heheh! My favs are Kenwood USA LS-Series A & B. I still have my first stereo set-up that was my brothers when I was very little, a Pioneer SX 1250 and Kenwood LS-408B's.
