Hello from Alberta

Well, hello Audiokarma, I don't usually do the intro posts on forums but I thought I should give this a shot. I am from Lethbridge Alberta and have slowly been piecing an affordable system together to get into vinyl with. My current system is a Pioneer PL-514 with a VM-95c, an Onkyo TX-8222 receiver and Warfedale Diamond 8.1's. I am working on adding a sub to the system as the Warfedales don't have a lot of "punch" down at the bottom. I also am working on building a Raspberry Pi Airplay receiver to cast my streaming music to. Thanks!

Hello Albertan! I've had the pleasure of spending time in your fine and beautiful province having lived on The Lower Mainland of BC for 15 years or so...now I'm north of Lake Ontario and south east of the big lake they called Gitche Gumee...

Cheers!

Thanks DeadRock, I grew up on Vancouver Island and spent 10 years living in Ottawa and up the Ottawa Valley!

Vancouver Island was one of my "go-to" vacation destinations when I lived out on The Left Coast...between Victoria, Parksville, Ucluelet, Tofino and Port Hardy...so much by way of different/varied experiences...as for Ottawa...my condolences... :p

Cheers!

I played a few pickup hockey games with a couple of Alberta guys on the BYU team. And I'm a big fan of Calgary thanks to shifter's YouTube channel on bike commuting. Welcome to AK.

Welcome "wind-blown" audio-type to AK.

Got great speakers for
clarity/detail, not
so much for
bass.

A former AB compatriot.
