Hello all,
I'm new to this forum, but have been an audio "buff" for over 30years. I'm recently unemployed, so spending more time surfing the net on audio sites. This one seems like a much more comfortable fit than some of the others I've tried. I'm from NW Detroit area, now living in the western suburb of Redford Twp. I have several systems, and mostly listen to '80 pop, Blues, Jazz standards, and some classical. I'm a big electrostatic speaker fan Quad, KLH9, Acoustat, and Crow ES1224, but my main "full range" system uses Kef 107/2s. I'm also fond of older electronics, and 2 channel almost exclusively. I'm a died in the wool audio equipment hoarder!
Anyway, I'm glad to have found this group, and hope to participate for a long time.

Welcome aboard!

Check out the Southeast Michigan Audio Club (SMAC) Forum here on AK for informal (but very interesting) monthly meets with a great group of like-minded guys and gals.

Welcome to AK! You have definitely come to the right place! There are lots of us "experienced" audio enthusiasts here, who seem to accumulate vintage gear. Of course, in my case anyway, it wasn't all vintage when I bought it, I've just had it a long time. Enjoy the forums!

Thanks all for the warm welcome!

BTW guiller, I LOVE your avatar!!
Jacques Tati is great, "Mr. Hulot's holiday" (as it was branded here) was one of my father's favorite movies, I can't pass a train station without a smile crossing my face.
