Hello from Appleton,WI

[baddog07]

I stumbled on your sight while I was looking for info on a Webcor Musicale tube phonograph. I play guitar and have built a couple amplifiers from old organs and tone cabinets. My wife and I recently fell in love with tube radios and their warm sound. I hope i am a good fit for this sight and will try to contribute as much as i can.

I'm pretty sure "NCR paper" was invented there and is still produced there by Appleton http://www.appletonideas.com/Appleton/jsps/ncr.do?langId=-1&catalogId=239327&storeId=139327

Welcome, I lived there for a long time, Home of Hearthstone Historic House on September 30, 1882, it became the first residence in the world powered by a centrally located hydroelectric station using the Edison system. And Appleton Wisconsin had the very first enclosed Mall (now gone). And the childhood home of Houdini.

People sure are friendly around here.

My wife and i recently went to the Hearthstone House . Pretty cool place to check out if you get a chance. I have only liked here for 3 years so im still exploring. Im a bit of a home body so i dont get out much unless its to see a band or to look for old electronics. Good to here from someone who has been around the area.

Nice to here from you all and look forward to chating in the future.

Pic of me in my prime and some stuff i scored over the summer
