New user here. Thanks to everyone who's posting have help me jump back into vintage gear. Having a great time expanding my mind.
I am a big time DIY type and have built my own audio rack and speaker stands and just finished new speaker cables with help from other members postings. Looking forward to spinning vinyl again like we did in the 60's and
70's.
In the past few months I have picked up a Dual 1264 (return didn't work but with your pimpel suggestions it's working like a trooper), Sansui 5050 that is smooth as silk (case was a little rough but some new woodgrained contact film took care of that) and have some Heybrook and some Tannoy bookshelp speakers and using a monster power center keeping the power under control.
Have a Marantz 2215 coming in on New Years Eve and I am really looking forward to hearing that familiar sound again.
Thanks again to all.

Response to CUBDOG,
Yes, she was my dog. We had to put her down after 15 years of loyal companionship.
You never know how much you miss them until they are gone.
Hope I didn't bring you down but you asked. :-)
Larry

Welcome and I certainly appreciate your loss. There are many dog lovers here who depend on their dedicated companionship.FWIW,a local band to the Cincinnati area moved to your area couple years ago..'Heartless Bastards',see them if you have the opportunity! You are so fortunate to be in the hotbed of live music.
