Hello from Bavaria, Germany

Well, it's time for a hello from Bavaria!
After already visiting the audiokarma site from time to time the last years it turned out to be more often the last few months after my LS50 had arrived.
Like it a lot, audiokarma and the new speakers.

I was going with some different Klipsch speakers the previous years but had to make a change because the Klipsch didn't perform at their best in the new smaller condo...
Actually my hifi gear consists of

KEF LS50 - Teac AI-1000 - Pioneer BDP-LX71 - Pro-Ject Tuner Box
and
Wharfedale Denton 80th Anniversary - Yamaha AX-900 - Yamaha CD-S300 - Onkyo T-4530

Thanks for the first welcomes, especially yours jsours, as my one and only visit to the States back in 2010 had been to Wisconsin and the greater Milwaukee area. Had a fantastic time...

Welcome! I used to live in Munich (off the Hohenzollernplatz....did I spell that right?). You live a pretty spectacular part of the world, I must admit. No wonder King Ludwig enjoyed it so much. Anyway, glad to have you part of the AK family....

Welcome. I lived a total of eleven years in Germany - Mannheim, Fulda and Augsburg. My last 5 years were in Augsburg where I was a construction manager for American and NATO facilities in southern Bavaria, including a number of projects down your way in Bad Aibling. Whenever I see the words "Inntal," I think of traffic jams on the Autobahn near the Inntaldreieck during the peak of ski season or summer vacation.

You live in a beautiful part of the world. One of my favorite beer fests was in the village of Neubeuren where it was held outdoors in the town square with candles lit in the windows of every house in town. Great memories.

Again, hello to you all and thanks for the warm welcome!
@Urchinn
Hohenzollernplatz, you did it right! btw., I work in Munich but live a little bit more in the south...in Niederaudorf, which is, as finnbow already mentioned, in the Inntal.
@finnbow
in the 90ies I lived in Bobingen south of Augsburg, did watch some Superbowls at Reese Barracks. the traffic jams on the autobahn you mentioned are still the same. and the "Marktbeleuchtung", the fest in Neubeuern is a wonderful event, yes!
@HarmanKardon
Black Forest, another beautiful place down here in the south!
