Hello from BC

I recently inherited a pair of KEF Reference Series 107s (and an Adcom GFA-555). Aside from the sentimental value they hold, I understand the R107s are quite special speakers. I know next to nothing about Hifi, but am thinking I could get into it. Hoping to get some useful information on this site. Initial questions:
1) Where are the best places to look for a KUBE?
2) What could be used in place of the KUBE?
3) Is there a shop I could trust to restore these speakers in western Canada or the western United States?
4) Is the GFA-555 considered adequate for these speakers?
Thanks!

Welcome! Don't know much about KEF speakers...but I bet someone in our "Speakers" forum can help you out.

Welcome Canuck, to AK!

Try "Innovative Audio" or "Vancouver Speaker Clinic" for starters.

There's an audio shop on the Island (Nanaimo) as well.

Check out the "speaker" forum, to see if you could do a DIY fix, if you are kinda handy with tools.

Check out as well, the rest of AK as there's prob some electronic aspect that could make use of, or direct you questions in the appropriate forum, eh? Make use of the "search" engine.
