Hello From Canada

Hi there,

I'm Joe from Canada. I joined this forum to get help and advice for a media room setup for a friend of mine. I'm going to be looking for more advice and opinions on replacing my older video surround sound system sometime later this year.

My main music listening setup includes a NAD 7240PE, Boston Acoustics CR77 speakers and a Polk Sub Woofer. I guess that makes me audiophile wannabe. If I ever have a budget to upgrade my system you can be sure I'll be asking a lot of questions here.

My computer workstation has Boston Acoustics CR55 speakers powered by a Roth MC4 Music Cocoon.

And for some reason I still have a Pioneer SX-450 receiver sitting in a closet doing nothing. I guess I have too many fond memories of my early music listening days.

Texas is big. I was in Austin in 2022 for a tech conference. Been to Texas a few times before that as well. It looks like a great place to live.
