Hi there from Florida! I love listening to physical music and want to decrease my reliance on streaming services, and in general love the feel of tapes, vinyls and CD's and how much underground stuff you can find (particularly Tapes and CD's). I started my journey buying cassettes from a guy at punk shows who had a huge bucket of them, and decided "well, what if I listened to this on something other than a shoebox recorder?" and from there I just got more and more into tape, vinyl and CD collecting. I fianlly got a vinyl player for my 20th birthday and have been loving using it while I write.
Mainly I joined because my CD player has been failing me and I wanna know if I can fix it, and trying to put together a cohesive cabinet that I can have all my devices in one area of my room to listen too- but thats for another thread.
Current Setup:
Insignia vinyl player => hooked up to a set of Bose II computer speakers until I can get something better
JVC RX-75 receiver that has:
JVC TD-W30 tape deck
JVC XL-v161 CD player (on the fritz)
