Hey everyone, new member here, saying hello! I'm a proud Houstonian and University of Houston alum.
I recently picked up a pair of Yamaha NS-670 speakers in excellent condition for a home office system I'm putting together. Small room, about 10x10, so this isn't a critical listening setup, just something I want to enjoy day to day.
Next step is finding speaker stands, the right integrated amp and a source for the system. I'm currently looking at either a Sansui AU-517 or AU-717, or a Yamaha CA-1010 (CA-1000 III). Open to hearing whether you think that's the right direction, or if there's something else I should be considering for this pairing.
I've been lurking and reading through a lot of threads here the last little while, staying up later than I should, and picking up a ton along the way. Appreciate everyone who takes the time to share their knowledge here; it's made a real difference for me getting up to speed.
