Hi, I'm a 52 year old from Illinois, living in Los Angeles. A former recording artist, I now manage, produce and write in the entertainment industry. My main goals however are finding the best vintage stereo receivers with compatible speakers and becoming able to repair them myself. Have been visiting this site off and on for a few months and figured it was time to join!

Welcome. There's a cool little vintage stereo shop on Alvarado just west of Sunset that you should check out. Not mine, no affiliation, but they have a decent selection and the prices are better than the auction site and the c-list sellers.
