Hi folks,
New member here from Las Vegas...enjoying Audiokarma....;
I've been hooked on audio since high school...back in the day of turntables, reel-to-reels, and the bigger the speaker, the better.
My tastes have refined since then, but I would say I'm a mid-fi guy slowly upgrading. My current system is primarily British: Arcam Alpha 9 integrated and power amps, which I bi-amp with my B&W 805's. Sounds wonderful.....; I also have an Arcam Alpha 9 CD player, and their MCD multi-disc changer. My Arcams are all vintage-late 90's, and just returned from a trip to an Arcam authorized service center for a checkup and tuneup; I'm also a big Marantz fan: my HT setup is based around my Marantz SR-7005 home theater receiver. I'm in the process of adding stuff, slowly: putting in a Furman power conditioner for my 2-channel system.......and that's about it for now.
I'm a big fan of vintage gear, and really enjoy seeing all the older stuff getting good use by Audiokarma members. My restoration project is a Marantz 6300 turntable, which will be used in my 2 channel system.
