Greetings from Maastricht

I'm new to this forum and I am looking for a little help with a job lot of gear that I picked up when buying a remote control. I wanted the Beolink 1000 to go with a Beosystem 4500 that I had brought but had to take the following too: -

Akai AT-2400
Akai AM-2400
Pioneer SA-5300
Dual CD40
Albany House AM-208
Panasonic NV-G12
B&O Beocord 900

At 30 euro for the lot it was quite a bargain :thmbsp:

I thought I would start with the Akai. The tuner appears to work but needs new lamps. There are 4 of them and they are soldered to their wires and I will probably recap it whilst I am at it. The amplifier powers up but the relay does not activate. I will recap and then investigate further.

So far I have found a schematic for the AM-2400 & the Beocord 900.

Does anybody have the service manual or schematics any of the others? In particular does anybody know the how to set the bias on the Amp or what voltage/wattage the tuner bulbs should be?

As a hobby I restore & collect B&O equipment from the 70's, 80's and early 90's so if you have any questions I will try my best to help

I currently own 28 Beomasters (17 distinct models), 2 Beocenters, 4 Beograms, 1 Beogram CD, 6 Beocords & 6 pairs of Beovox. I have some nice pictures that I can post if anybody is interested...

Kindest regards
Richard

Alweer een landgenoot... welkom hier! That's a nice system for 30 euro's. And about all this B&O gear... how big is your house :jawdrop:
Anyway, post some pics, B&O has always been goodlooking stuff. And enjoy this forum!
