Hi I'm new to the world of audio equipment and this site was recommended to me by my friend Andrew (andrewto). I have a low budget system comprised of mostly hand me downs from my grandparents and whatever I can get at Salvation Army. I'm to learn about more about audio and music playing machines. I am currently a Junior at University of Michigan and I am a French horn performance major so I am very interested in learning about sound quality.

There is a local group called SMAC: Southeast Michigan Audio Club based here on AK. Check out the SMAC forum - monthly meets, good conversation, good guys.

Welcome! This type of "stuff" you have is the best because people tend to pitch it out or think its old, obvisouly its no good....It's the best, because it is old and cheap to free as well...
