Hi,

Just joined the forum, and thought I might introduce myself.

I'm from Norway, 43 years old and have record collecting as sort of a hobby. Most of my decidedly modest vinyl collection is 80's alternative music. My stereo equipment is getting on a bit (NAD C320BEE, Thorens TD320, Arcam Alpha 8 CD and Mission 727 speakers), but I've grow attached to it over the years.

Pretty sure it means "please to meet you." :scratch2: Maybe Artig å treffe deg would be a better fit.

Edit: I'm sticking with the first one. I looked it up just to make sure. I was close as it means "nice to meet you". You had me worried there.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Although considering the language prowness of you all I suppose "Tusen takk for en hyggelig velkomst" would be more appropriate :)

Welcome to AK from a fellow Norwegian! My wife is from Oslo, has her vacation hytte in Trondheim, and her grandfather is King Harald V. She and I married 2 years ago and change. Her name is Ingjerd, our adopted sons are Erik and Bjorn. All 4 of us have spina bifida and are wheelchair users.
