Hi all! Picked up my first stereo since university days last Saturday. A Christmas present between my wife and myself to each other and reward for spending the last five months renovating our new flat.

Ended up with a NAD C375BEE and a pair of B&W CM9s, glad to see the amp seems well regarded. It is certainly better than anything I'm used to.

I also got a NAD DAC1 but it isn't performing correctly so I'll be taking that back tomorrow.

Next upgrade will be some kind of turntable, and maybe and it is a big maybe, after that we might buy some furniture. Priorities, you see.

Sometimes music is best enjoyed while sitting on the floor.:D I am partly of Norwegian descent by the way. I believe a ways back it was from the Nygaard (spell?) family where my line sprang. I'm at work now so I can't look at anything to verify that. Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm actually Scottish, not Norwegian, but I've been here more than 10 years so aside from drinking whiskey and occasionally wearing a kilt I've gone quite native.

I spent a week in Norway a few years ago and it was awesome. Spent time in Christiansand, Kragero, and Oslo as the people we visited owned places in all 3.

Enjoy your new system. I recently heard the lower cost NAD Receiver and CDP driving some Dynaudio Excites and the NAD was up to the task.
