I am new here (duh :D) and decided to do an intro thingy.

I am from Portland, Oregon and I recently picked up an old Pioneer SX-950. I use it for my computer and I'm currently using a pair of modded JVC HAR-X900's headphones. I prefer the isolation I get from closed cup headphones compared to speakers, unless of course I'm driving, in which case I got some infinity reference 6.5s and a pioneer amp/deck.

Probably one of the weaker setups, but hey, you gotta make due with what you got(unless you got more money than me :D).

And nothing wrong with your Pioneer SX-950 that is a very nice set. It's your system so your the ONLY one that needs to enjoy it. Don't get to caught up in the great race to out do the Jones around here. ENjoy what you have and develope your hobby as you see fit.

I'm in Silverton there's quite a few of us spread around the state so if you ever what to meet another AKer shouldn't be to difficult.
