I've been using this forum for quite some time before making a profile. Still hadn't posted until the other day looking for an opinion on an AV receiver. Figured I should say hello to everyone.
A little about myself, I live in between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg Pennsylvania, work at heat treatment of metal, enjoy vintage items - especially Cub Cadets and appliances, love jamming to my rock music and good Sci Fi, fantasy and action/thriller movies.
I currently have a Sansui 2000x and 4000 that are in need of cleaning and possible minor repairs. They both work but have their issues. At this time I'm using a Sony receiver my GF purchased for me a few years ago with tower speakers. It's pretty good but nothing near as good as those Sansuis with the big floor speakers (they're not Sansui, I'm thinking they're Kenwood and I replaced the 12" subs with some cheap ones just to get them useable).
Anyhow... Just wanted to give you all a quick shout and hopefully I can contribute and learn a bunch going forward.
