Yes, Boa Tarde!

Where in Portugal? I visited Portugal for a few weeks this summer and really enjoyed it.

Obrigado a todos.(Thank you everybody).
I live in Lisbon. I am in the 12th grade.
My School is located in Restelo, Lisbon.

Montycat, do you know the "pastéis de Belem"?
What do you know about Portugal?

Pastel de nata, excellent pastries made in Portugal. Lisboa has a famous pastries shop in the parish of Belém. The pastries are excellent for you heart, it's made of eggs yolk and full of cholesterol. :D

Seriously, this pastry with a nice glass of Porto is the way to go. :thmbsp:

Ola Tiago,

We spent only 3 days in Lisbon but we were in your area. There was a big music festival in the park near you that we spent half a day at in June. We also walked down through the Restelo district and took the tram along the Tejo.

I don't know if we had the actual pastry from there but had similar ones and loved them. I wish we had known of the factory tours! We love checking out the different foods when we travel and sometimes have even taken cooking courses. We walk lots and carry our own backpacks so we work off some of the cholesterol! :)

We stayed in Alfama, but also Porto, the Douro, Peniche and Sintra and some other places.

Here is my travel blog with some impressions from Portugal. Portugal Esta Na Merda!
