Thanks AudioKarma for an interesting and informative forum and hello members. I'm finally building the hifi I've always dreamed of and doing it on a budget. I'm looking forward to some mixing and matching of equipment, especially the cool vintage stuff.

Welcome to AK from another SoCal, straddling the LA/OC line. As bobabode mentioned, we're getting together, although not in La Habra (that's where I live) but in Cerritos. Hope you can make it.

Thanks to all for the invites! Sorry to be a party pooper; I just came back to the thread today - too late. I've been too occupied cleaning the old Marantz TT - stored in a friend's attic for a decade, and playing CDs. I hope the gathering went (is going) well. I'm in ig Bear.
