I'm a low budget, search for closeouts and discontinued stereo equipment kind of guy.
Always searching for a gem at a yard sale, thrift store, or swap meet :thmbsp:

About 12 years ago I worked inside the Goodwill Industries building in Downtown, Los Angeles (San Fernando Rd.) and would spend my lunch in their store next door twice a week : )

I would see A/D/S, Phase Linear, Kenwood, Fisher, Sherwood, Klipsch, Pioneer, and Marantz all the time.
Now it is so rare to find something decent : (
