Hi All

Gavin Here, based in Johannesburg South Africa.

I am an Old Fart (56 years) but that gives me a head start in Audio because not only do I know what a Valve is I have actually seen them working !!!!

I am a Control Systems Engineer who started out as a Telecommunication Technician, fixed Hifi, LoFi, TV etc.
I ahve been interested in Audio for at least 35 years and have been known to repair the following : Bang and Olufsen, Teac, Sony, Pioneer, NAD, Fender, Vox, Spectra Audio, Marshall, Phase Linear, Supersonic and a whole lot more.

I hope to learn a lot here and if anybody needs "techie" advice I am available.
