Hello from the Atlanta area!

My Spine Is The Bassline
Been lurking for a bit. Really love the feel here. It was suggested I register here by one of the AudioKarma members. And I'm glad I did.

Not sure how much I can contribute as I've been away from the world of turntables, receivers and speakers for 20+ years. Having been seduced by the CD and lately Flac and mp3. I'm taking the plunge back into the world I genuinely miss. Getting a turntable in a couple weeks (early birthday gift from a friend). For the time being, I'm getting a phono preamp and will be using the computer. Better than nothing, I guess to get started at least.

Within the coming weeks, I'll be searching for a decent new entry level receiver, or a good deal on a vintage-ish receiver. The last receiver I remember owning was a Technics SA-101, if memory serves.

I've rambled on long enough, sorry for the long intro.

PEACE!

Thanks for the warm welcome , guys.

And to be exact, I'm orbiting Atlanta by way of Newnan (about 30 miles southeast). :D

Damn, I really love this forum. My 12th post, and I've just become a subscriber. The reading of so many threads with a wealth of information, opinion and fun is worth the subscription alone. Plus Barter Town and such is an added bonus.
