Morning, everyone. Been lurking & nosing around on this site for a small while, and finally decided it was time to register.

My vinyl collection (all rock/metal/AOR) has been laid silent & boxed for the past 10 years, due to having no TT; I stupidly sold my Pro-Ject Debut when I left the UK thinking I could replace it for the same price in Canada!! Sadly, these are few and far between in Alberta, and pricey too.

So, a friend kindly "donated" an old, but in good condition, Hitachi HT-324 a few months back. Had to replace the belt, and grabbed a new headshell & an Audio Technica AT91 cartridge (for now).

I now have the warm, deeper sound of vinyl again.

Next step is to Spin-Clean and be happy.

I'm not Canadian......yet. Originally from Birkenhead, England. Hope to do the citizenship test next year; 10 years in Canada, and I think it's time to be a dual citizen!
