Hello

I've been lurking as a non-member for a while. I visit to get info, read reviews, and learn. I've decided to take the plunge and join.

I have a cobbled together Kijiji stereo. Well, mostly. I bought the receiver new two years ago.

So I have a Sony STR-DN1030 receiver; a Pro-Ject Essential turntable with an upgraded Ortofon 2M Red; a Denon DCM-460 CD player; an Apple MacBook as a media player; a pair of vintage Paradigm 5 speakers and a Paradigm CC-350 center speaker. For surround I have two very nice bookshelf's labelled "Digital" but I know nothing about them. Finally, and I think the next item to be replaced, a Sony subwoofer.

It is a nice sounding system. I'm still learning, but I'm feeling almost confident enough to ask questions. ;)
