Hello - from the Isle of Man

Hi been lurking on here for a week or so, great site full of useful information. Thought I had better introduce myself before I start posting for some help.

Well I live on the Isle of Man, a small island in the British isles, any one else over here? I am interested in most things electrical, from my 1950s Kenwood food mixer to my diy media centre!

Well I am gonna go and write up a thread for some help :-)

Greetings Clint. When my wife and I lived in the Czech Republic my wife's job involved periodic trips to the Isle of Man as a translator. I never had the pleasure though.

Welcome to AK. I try to watch the motorcycle races held there every year on TV. Looks like a nice place to live.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome from every one :) didnt expect so many to know of the island, it really is a small world! Yes the TT races are our claim to fame, and the TV coverage is getting better every year.

went to isle of man on honey moon ...had a blast ... might bring a bike sometime ..
 
Ye bring a bike TT week, the mountain section of the course is one way to public traffic for the week, had some fun in the MG this year :)
 
will have to ask my landlord if the Norton is going there . bagh bet its still in bits .. he likes the cars too much ..
would have to have a chair attached anyway .
