Hello from the St Louis Missouri area.

Always been a tinkerer and have recently been a lurker here.
I have built guitar pedals from scratch and different electronics in my hobbies.
Had a pirate radio station at one point.
Well I've had the tube amp bug for a few years and have been researching and reading and hope to build a stereo soon. Money is tight and time is a plenty. That may be the wrong way around.

Anyhow, thank you for all the info I've already parsed in my searches and all the future info I'm sure to find.

Welcome from western Missouri! If you care to cross the state, there is going to be an audio meet barely over the Kansas line...this weekend. I can send you the details.

Welcome Mud! I have family in St. Louis and have always enjoyed visiting for the food. St. Louis style baby back ribs are a personal favorite of mine and I have always respected the fact that you can get a side order of nacho cheese at any restaurant in town. You built guitar pedals? Whoa. Effects driven guitar pedals have always fascinated me the way you can apply chorus, phasers, pitch bends, tremelo, as well as reverb and delay. That's a pretty good background to have as a tinkerer because you are aware of what different effects actually do and what they sound like. I mean, where would bands like Pink Floyd be without their legendary guitar effects bending in perfect pitch and time throughout their songs? It is good to have you aboard. Welcome to AudioKarma. We can expect great things from you I think. Cheers! :)

Thanks for the warm welcomes.
I should probably clarify that I just copy other people's pedals. I find a board layouts and just point to point it on perf board.
I'm just a hack that hopefully knows just enough to stay on the top side of the dirt.
As I venture into the tube stuff only time will tell.
