Hello there All,
Just want to introduce myself, I am a vintage audio enthusiast, mainly from a listening standpoint. I do not know the repair / restoration end of things unfortunately. I have many vintage components at any given time, and enjoy buying selling and trading to try different setups. I currently have some vintage Pioneer receivers SX1250 and SX1010, a Stromberg ASR-433 tube integrated amp, several turntables, Nivico Globe speakers (cool), Pioneer CS 911a speakers, and more...

forgot one of my faves

I also have some assorted tape decks, and my favorite Yamaha CD-1 CD player! Also addicted to guitar gear too.

Welcome to AK Tom. I too am from upstate/central New York. I'm 30 miles south of Syracuse. How about you?

Nice to know there are still a few of us in upstate with a ove of music.

hey, where abouts upstate ... I'm currently in Kinderhook ....
( prisoners you say you're from Troy ... same here, Lansingburgh High '75 :D )

Hi, can I borrow your snow shovel? Mine just broke.

I'm in a small town called Scott. 1 mile southj of the county line on rt.41

I dont use a shovel much, just a snowblower. I was in Syracuse today. You guys dont have 1/2 the snow we do. I sure be sick of it already.

Yeah, I was under that same persistant lake effect band that was just west of downtown and extended through the Onondaga, Otisco and southern Skaneateles Lake areas. Syracuse broke its record for the snowiest December ever (71") and there's still two weeks to go! The city does an excellent job of not just snow plowing but removal too. Hard to believe it was 63° on Dec. 1st.
