Name's Kevin...Just wanted to say Hi!

I'm a newbie in the whole audio world and this forum seems like a cool place to learn stuff. Picked up a Sansui Amp, Dual 1216 and some vinyl...and now I just want to keep buying everything I see.

For my next project going to try to fix up a yamaha A-520 amp that I got for free.

Yes, welcome. As hunter said there are a few of us here on the wet coast. Sometimes we can help in person if you need it.
 
Welcome to AK, only buy upgrades, unless you are certain you can make money from a purchase. Otherwise you will be drowning in gear in a few years. Sounds like you are off to a good start.
 
Thanks for the tips everyone. Good to know that there's local help. For those around Vancouver do you just browse craigslist for gear or is there some good stores to visit.

Both really. However I've cut way back on both as they both seem to have had less plus I know I have way more than I need. ;)
