Hello from WI

Lots of us around here from the north country. I'm from just to the west of you in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Welcome to the AK Forums! I think you'll like it around here!

Welcome!:tresbon:
Madison's a pretty laid back town, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
State Street is a interesting place to hang out/people watch.
Madisound is right in your neighborhood.
You will have to make a weekend trip to the Dell's, House on The Rock, Alpine Valley, all that good stuff.
Plus you are only a hop skip and a jump from Chicago.:thmbsp:

Yeah I definitely enjoy it so far, a lot more laid back than DC and the East Coast in general. Have not been to Madisound yet, but have been to Paragon quite a few times, actually that is where I picked up my rebuilt Marantz 6350Q.

Still haven't ventured out into the rest of the state, too much. I know the Dell's is on our list, and have been down to Chicago quite a few times since we moved here. Have quite a few good friends that live in the city.

University Audio has some pretty nice gear in stock, although a limited selection. They also have used stuff too.

Welcome love madtown, up there a lot. Stinzi lives there too we love madcity music exchange, will possibly be up there next week.

Yeah, MadCity Music is a great store, I never really find what I'm looking for exactly, but I always find stuff that I'm not thinking of. You know what I mean? I usually end up going to Strictly Discs the most, mainly because it is within walking distance of my house and they always seem to be getting awesome collections in.

That's another place I've been meaning to check out, right in my neighborhood. I wasn't aware that they had used gear, though. Good to know.

Welcome to AK and Wisconsin. It 's interesting to see how many AKers are from the Madison area. JMP
